OUR STORY
In the early 70s, Mr. Esmail Patrawala chanced upon an opportunity that sowed the seeds for what is now one of the most successful marine equipment specialists in India
While working as a fitter on a merchant vessel, he encountered a problem that seemed relatively simple to him and he volunteered to solve it.
The superintendent was arguing with a supplier for want of a regulator on board a merchant vessel. Esmail knew exactly where to get it from and he did just that, solving a major problem on board.
This led to more questions about several other products and commodities, and he had the answers and the expertise to procure and supply..
The rest, as they say, is history.
A Legacy spanning two generations:
Regular demand from Maldives National Shipping Lines and other vessels calling ports in Bombay, led to the growth of the business.
Soon, the orders started pouring in and Esmail absorbed his three sons – Shabbir, Aliasgar & Tayeb into the now lucrative family business.
The knowledge was transferred ‘hands on’ and ‘on the job’, weaved in with strong core values that became the formula for success at Aeromarine
All three brothers were driven by the same passion and zeal, with the aim to deliver the best customer experience possible. Each decade brought with it new business verticals and what started with supplies now encompasses a gamut of offerings including Shipping & Offshore Solutions, Ship Chandling Solutions, Boats, Environmental Monitoring Solutions, Marine Aids to Navigation, Remote Site Management & Second Hand Ship Spares.
